"Bring my flowers now, while I'm living
I won't need your love when I'm gone"
~ Tanya Tucker
Flowers! Flowers! Flowers!
Flowers are quickly becoming one of our favourite things to grow here at Seven Acres Farm!
The vibrant colours and intricate beauty of flowers makes walking through our garden beds and arranging bouquets an immediate mood lifter, and we're not the only ones who think so. Healthy, chemical-free flowers are magnets for native pollinators, honey bees, butterflies, and birds, helping increase the biodiversity on our farm while creating a lively, life-affirming environment.
As our experience with flowers grow, so does the length of our flower season, as well as the varieties and volumes of flowers that we offer. Our flower season typically begins in May and wraps up in early October, with the largest volume of flowers being available from mid-July to mid-September.
